My brother-in-law was complaining of him being able to hear his heartbeat through his right ear. Before he went to the ENT, I assumed it was tinnitus. And I was right.
There are many causes of tinnitus. The most obvious and common cause is too much exposure to loud noise. But medications and other diseases can also be culprits of such ear problem. It can also be a symptom of a brain aneurysm or a brain tumor.
There is no exact treatment for tinnitus, unfortunately. But my brother was prescribed some medicines that might be able to alleviate his condition.
