Egg is not my favorite food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I do not consume egg on a daily basis. I, probably, have eggs on my dining plate once or twice a month. But after knowing the benefits of eating an egg a day, I may include it on my cancer-fighting everyday menu.
According to Reader’s Digest, a recent US National Institutes of Health study reveals that consuming one egg a day can reduce the risk of developing breast cancer by 24%. This is because egg is high in choline, which is considered as a water-soluble essential nutrient and grouped within the B-complex vitamins.
Other sources of choline are meat and nuts.
