If you're a big fan of House M.D., the TV show, you'd know Thirteen, who's suffering from Huntington's disease or Huntington Chorea. Thirteen, a bisexual, is portrayed by Olivia Wilde.
Huntington's disease is a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle rigidity and dementia accompanied by chorea (abnormal involuntary movement disorder) and often seizure.
The onset of the disease is by age 40 and (may be) in childhood.
And death occurs in 5 to 15 years.

Even this disease has received publicity in House.
It is terrible to know one has the disease with poor prognosis.
I do find the issues of knowing everything which would sometimes brings unnecessary anxiety associated with too much genetic diganostic testing
EVEN IF THIS DISEASE HAS BEEN ON HOUSE, THERE IS ALOT THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO DEAL WITH. LIKE I HAVE HAD MS 30 YEARS, YOU LEARN TO MAKE THE BEST OF LIFE
So does the actress actually have this disease?
Many diseases could benefit from awareness and at least House is doing something to bring awareness to a disease such as this.
@Tom Sawyer... In real life, she doesn't have this kind of disease.
Yes, watching House has a lot of benefits especially for us who are in the medical field.
I figured his off the wall crap such as prescribing baking soda and other random things would turn an actual medical professional away from that show...
Olivia is indeed convincing in this role portrayal. I really thank the makers of this show for helping us in the medical field.
